Enhancements

  • Save options available via dropdown menu. (JMS2-101)

    • Save & Close:

    1.      ‘Save’ -  Button (Icon) working as previous versions.

      a. It offers you an option to upload to the JMSCloud, ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

    Selecting the dropdown arrow next to the ‘Save’ icon will offer the following:

    2.      ‘Save’

      a. Does the same as selecting the ‘Save’ icon as above.

    3.      ‘Save and upload to JMSCloud’

      a. Will upload current job to JMSCloud without further intervention.

    4.      ‘Save but don’t upload to JMSCloud.

      a. Will save the current job, but will not upload to JMSCloud.

  b. Selecting the ‘Close’ icon will close the current job without saving to JMSCloud even if changes have been made to the current job.
  • Search method required in parameters. (JMS2-104)

    • 1.      In all parameters and cost files, you will find at the top far right corner, a search option.

      a. In the empty box type a word that matches the component or number you are looking for and click in the ‘Find’ button.  The search feature will highlight all instances of the search word, part or whole.

  b. Click the button again to clear the search word.

    Fixed Defects

  • Crashing on entering labour times into Fittings Cost File. (JMS2-76)

    • Adding/changing labour time in the 'Fittings Cost File' was taking a very long time to update, as a consequence, canceling the update would cause JMS V2 to crash.

    This has been fixed.

  • Additional fittings not updating following a cost change. (JMS2-77)

    • This has now been corrected.

  • Quick menu options for duplex bars have been reinstated (JMS2-80)

    • This has now been corrected.

  • Glass size was being calculated correctly, just the setting out was incorrect. (JMS2-82)

    • This has now been fixed.

  • Glass height not being calculated correctly (JMS2-89)

    • Winglight cill rebate, if different to the Frame rebate, was not being picked up.

    This has now been corrected.

  • Additional DGU drawing shown on 'Glass Summary' that is not on list of glass at top of page. (JMS2-91)

    • This has been fixed in this new release.

  • JMSCloud 'Project number' is now added to jobs in JMS V2 (JMS2-102)

    • Starting a project in JMSCoud (preferred method) and sending back to JMS V2 using the 'Ready to quote' button will auto fill the 'Project number' field on the 'Job details' screen in V2. This 'Project number' field is a new addition and can be copied to the 'existing 'Job number' field on the 'Job Details' screen if required.

    The JMSCloud 'Project number' does not get printed on any reports from JMS V2, but will be shown in a new column in the 'Open a job' screen.

    To access this screen, click on 'Jobs' > 'Open'. The 'Open a job' screen will be displayed, you will see the new 'project number' column that is searchable in the usual manner.

  • Auto fill filename with Job title when saving. (JMS2-103)

    • When using any of the 'Save' options, the 'Job title' (as entered in the 'Job details' screen) will be used for the 'Job name'. You are still able to overwrite this should you wish to do so.
