Enhancements

  • Ability to not have contact/customer name printed on reports. (JMS2-41)

  • This feature has been added to two areas for printing control.

    1. In print manager for all the templated reports, there is an option show 'customer name' with a simple yes/no question.
    2. for the several non templated (NT) reports, the option to show / not show the 'customer/contact' name is available when you use the 'Print' icon to print the reports. In this instance it is a simple 'check box' for you to tick.
  • Ability to show a centre panel with a 'cricket bat' design moulding, in screen frames and screen casements. (JMS2-78)

  • This feature in now available.

  • Ability to add a 'Standard Paragraph' in the Xtra's text box (JMS2-79)

  • This feature has now been implemented

  • Sliding Sash: Inner & Outer linings to run past box head (JMS2-86)

  • There is now the ability to run inner mullion linings to the top of the head box as we do with the outer mullion linings.

  • Door and Screen Casement dimensions displayed on estimate when in a frame. (JMS2-107)

  • If you are not using cutting sheets for the workshop, and only using JMS for quoting purposes, we highly recommend you turn this feature off.

    To suppress the door / casement dimensions from showing on the 'Estimate / Quotation'

    1. In JMS, goto Setup > Print Manager.
    2. Select 'Estimate or Quotation' for the 'Printout Type' option box.
    3. Expand all five options to show the various usable reports.
    4. Select one report in turn that you are currently using for your Esitmate / Quotations.
    5. On the 'Template Options' screen, select 'Modify Options' at the bottom of the screen.
    6. The last option (33) will allow you to select 'Yes' or 'No' to print door and casement dimensions on the Estimate / Quotation.
  • Wording for m16 in all joinery parameters was worded incorrectly (JMS2-115)

  • m16 wording in all relevant joinery parameters has been amended.

  • Print preview function has been added to JMS. (JMS2-117)

  • When in the 'Print Report' dialog by using File > Print Report, or clicking onto the 'Print' icon from the 'Desktop summary' screen, you now have the ability to Print Preview the report.

    Once the report is selected and 'Print' is clicked on, you are taken to a 'Print Preview' of the selected report.

    From this new dialog screen, there are several new features such as Print to a printer of your choice and save the report as a PDF.

    When setting up reports using the 'Print Manager', Idealy have a job open or at the very least just start a new job. In doing so the report manager will display a preview of the reports.

    Should you have made changes to a report, click 'Save' then click on 'Refresh' to see the changed results.

    Fixed Defects

  • False Plant on Bar tape appearing without false plant on bars. (JMS2-1)

  • This has now been fixed.

  • FL&B Door Groove being shown incorrectly (JMS2-48)

  • Top and bottom rails were being drawn incorrectly.

    This has been corrected.

  • Sliding Sash U-Value displayed from previous line item (JMS2-52)

  • This has been corrected

  • Joinery Parameter-Print out wording in the wrong columns (JMS2-57)

  • When printing, the process group column was being printed. This is not needed and was upsetting order of the columns.

    This has now been corrected.

  • Centre panel in screen frames had stopped working. (JMS2-61)

  • This has been fixed.

  • Ready to Quote 'OK' button not working (JMS2-66)

  • This has been corrected

  • Additional fittings not updating following a cost change. (JMS2-77)

  • This has now been corrected.

    Please bear in mind, when making changes at high level in cost files etc, for the changes to show on the line items, you must use the 'Recompute Job' button located on the 'Job Details' page.

  • Some Master and Slave door images are displayed incorrectly. (JMS2-83)

  • When Master and Slave option had been chosen and doors were set to open out, certain print outs were not displaying correctly.

    This has now been corrected.

  • Cursor has focus in wrong area on 'Open a job' dialog (JMS2-84)

  • This has now been corrected.

  • BOM not able to move between status lines. (JMS2-87)

  • This has now been corrected

  • Line item drawing is not being printed on cutting list (JMS2-94)

  • When a very large amount of text is added to the description field for a joinery item, on some printouts with drawings (due the large body of text), the item drawing was not being printed due to an overrun in the print engine.

    This has been fixed to a point. One should bear in mind that the description field is to be used for a brief description.

  • Item type - Not persistent when saving to line item. (JMS2-96)

  • This has now been corrected

  • Screen Frame - Rails are shown without rebates drawn. (JMS2-97)

  • This drawing issue has now been fixed in some areas. Item O/A dimensions are unchanged.

  • Locally defined issue regarding Doors and Screen Casements. (JMS2-108)

  • Once a single door had been added to a screen frame, removing the door and replacing with double doors, would continue to add a single door, and visa versa.

    The same was true for screen casements.

    This has been corrected.

  • Flush door blanks not being sized correctly (JMS2-110)

  • This has now been corrected.

  • Fittings cost file - Labour time not being accepted when saved. (JMS2-111)

  • This has been corrected.

  • Casement window module. (JMS2-129)

  • Horizontal glazing bars added to a fixed casement would use the opening casement bottom gap to adjust the glazing bar positioning.

    This has now been fixed.

  • Multiple of the same setting out dimension was being displayed on the casement window module cutting list. (JMS2-130)

  • This has now been fixed.
